& Fundamentals for Continuing
Students:
Tango walking, embrace/frame,
8-count basic (salida),
figure 8s (ochos),
basic turns, paradas (stops), sacadas
(displacements),
rhythm/musicality, lead/follow techniques
&
line-of-dance navigation.
Fee is per person
and no partner necessary.
Dance shoes recommended.
Drop-ins welcomed.
No Dance Experience
Required |
Intermediate/Advanced:
Close & open embraces,
advanced patterns
(Tango Fantasia), advanced turns
(molinetes &
traveling giros), rhythm/musicality,
lead/follow,
dancing in crowded
spaces, contra-body techniques,
corridas, syncopated
steps (traspié) & "Creative
Crossing."
Series also includes
some Milonga and Tango Vals
instruction. Fee
is per person and no partner necessary.
Dance
shoes recommended. Drop-ins welcome.
